Dua for Rizq – Authentic Supplications for Provision
Read Quranic duas and authentic supplications for halal provision, gratitude and contentment. Rizq includes faith, health, time and relationships, not only money.
What does rizq mean?
Rizq is the provision Allah grants. A Muslim asks for what is good and halal while taking lawful means, working with integrity and remaining grateful for what is already present.
Dua should not be used to promise a specific financial result. Ask Allah for beneficial provision, barakah and the ability to use blessings well.
Quranic duas for provision
Musa (AS) said: Rabbi inni lima anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqir — My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need (Quran 28:24).
- Rabbi inni lima anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqir (Quran 28:24)
- Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan (Quran 2:201)
- Rabbighfir li wa hab li mulkan la yanbaghi li-ahadin min ba'di (Quran 38:35)
Dua and lawful effort
Pair supplication with honest work, fulfilling contracts, avoiding prohibited income, maintaining family ties and giving charity. The Prophet ﷺ encouraged seeking halal earnings and taught that sadaqah does not diminish wealth in the way people fear (Sahih Muslim 2588).
