Morning Adhkar – Authentic Duas and Remembrance
Begin the day with authentic morning adhkar from the Quran and Sunnah. Read the Arabic, transliteration, meaning and references, then use the Tasbih counter to keep your practice consistent.
What are morning adhkar?
Morning adhkar are words of remembrance and supplication recited after dawn and through the early part of the day. They renew tawhid, gratitude and reliance on Allah rather than treating remembrance as a ritual with a guaranteed worldly outcome.
Recite what you know with presence of heart. Authentic wording and a steady, sincere habit are more valuable than rushing through a long list.
A practical morning routine
After Fajr, choose a quiet place and begin with praise of Allah. Include the established remembrance below, read the meaning, and make personal dua for guidance and protection.
- Ayat al-Kursi (Quran 2:255)
- Surah Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq and An-Nas three times each (Sunan Abi Dawud 5082)
- Sayyid al-Istighfar once (Sahih al-Bukhari 6306)
- The morning dua: Allahumma bika asbahna wa bika amsayna (Jami at-Tirmidhi 3391)
Protection and gratitude
Morning remembrance includes seeking refuge from harm and affirming that all blessings come from Allah. The purpose is worship, not superstition; do not attribute independent power to a phrase or object.
When a dhikr has a specified number in an authentic source, follow that number. For general remembrance, use the counter as a helpful personal aid without treating the device as part of the worship.
